Thursday 29 February 2024, from 16:30 to 18:00, within the framework of KEY – The Energy Transition EXPO at Riminifiera (City&Mobility Arena Hall C1), the conference will be held ‘Commercial Vehicles to (re)charge! Electrification of freight transport in Italy and development of charging infrastructure’. by Kyoto Club, Motus-Eand KEY Technical Scientific Committee, and in collaboration with Ecomondoand ZET Italia.
The event aims to take an in-depth look at the current European regulatory framework on the electrification of commercial vehicles and its implementation in Italy, in particular the AFIR regulation for charging infrastructures. Analyses by the ZET Italia (Zero Emission Trucks Italy) group, developed together with MOTUS-E, the Italian alliance for electric mobility, on the penetration scenarios of electric vehicles for goods transport and the necessary development of the relevant charging infrastructure will be presented. This will be discussed with logistics and transport operators, authorities, institutions and road and electricity network operators.
Speakers will include Massimo Marciani, FIT President, who will speak at the panel discussion moderated by Anna Donati entitled “The decarbonisation of vans and trucks for freight transport and city logistics’.
