Paola Cossu speaker at the workshop ‘Smart solutions for multimodality in urban logistics’ scheduled for 12 April at Bocconi University
On Friday 12 April, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Aula AS-01 of Bocconi University in Milan (Via Roentgen, 1) the workshop “Smart solutions for multimodality in urban logistics” organised by the Smart City Observatory of Bocconi University will be held.
In fact, urban logistics is undergoing a profound transformation due to several factors, including the rise of eCommerce, consumer demand for increasingly flexible deliveries, and the need of public decision-makers to reduce congestion in urban areas and pollutant and climate-changing emissions. In this scenario, digital solutions can contribute to a more efficient management of urban logistics, fostering greater coordination between operators, multimodality and a more rational use of public space.
The workshop will therefore explore technological solutions, infrastructure investments, operational models and policy tools that can innovate urban logistics.
Among the speakers will be Paola Cossu, CEO FIT, with a speech entitled ‘Digital solutions in urban logistics as an opportunity for efficiency and sustainability’.
Participation in the workshop is free after online registration by clicking here, or on site.
