Massimo Marciani, FIT President, appointed Full Member of the ONTM Strategic Committee

It is with great pride that we announce the appointment of Massimo Marciani, President of FIT Consulting, as Effective Member of the Strategic Committee of the National Observatory for the Protection of the Sea (ONTM), whose mission is to enhance the value of the sea resource as a strategic asset of the country’s economic and social architecture by promoting an integrated approach that combines economic development with environmental protection.

Marciani, through his role, will help enrich the Strategic Committee – composed of authoritative representatives from the world of business and institutions – with new perspectives and solutions, strengthening the synergy between the country’s best resources. This will be fundamental to support the activities and projects of ONTM, which aims to identify, implement and develop innovative technological solutions and economic models with the goal of ensuring a sustainable balance between the development of society and environmental protection, with a specific focus on the marine ecosystem.

“I celebrate with great pride and sense of responsibility my appointment as Full Member of the Strategic Committee of the National Observatory for Sea Protection. The sea represents an essential resource for the economic and social development of our country, and being able to contribute to the development of this sector is an honour. I firmly believe that technological innovation and sustainability must be the pillars of any future strategy, and I am convinced that together with ONTM we will be able to identify solutions capable of balancing economic growth and environmental protection. Our commitment is for the benefit of future generations.”

the words of Massimo Marciani following his appointment as Member of the Strategic Committee.

Among the Observatory’s many activities, particular attention is paid to research and development of advanced technologies, capable of responding to the environmental challenges of our time, as well as to environmental diplomacy, a fundamental tool for balancing the interests of the main stakeholders: the environmental ecosystem and in particular the marine ecosystem, the business world and the community.

The appointment of Massimo Marciani represents a significant step in strengthening the competences and strategies of the National Sea Protection Observatory. His contribution will be decisive in achieving the common goal of promoting sustainable development, in which the balance between economic growth and protection of the marine environment becomes a core value for the future of the country and the next generations.
