The 16th of November, Paola Cossu, CEO of FIT, will be one of the panelist at the UlaaDS – Urban Logistics as an on-Demand Service Final Conference in Barcelona!
ULaaDS is a Horizon 2020 project that developed and trialled logistics solutions based on the principles of the sharing economy using a combination of innovative technology solutions (vehicles, equipment and infrastructure), new schemes for horizontal collaboration (driven by the sharing economy) and policy measures and interventions as catalyzers of a systemic change in urban and peri-urban service infrastructure.
During the two-day event, insights into project implementation and knowledge exchange on other urban logistics realities from EU-funded projects and pioneering cities implementing urban logistics solutions across Europe are planned.
Paola Cossu will be invited panelist in the afternoon Session dealing with ‘The status of urban logistics in Europe‘ scheduled for 16 November at 14:00 (CET). This session will take stock of the key lessons learnt in the ULaaDS and Senator projects and what are main expectations from newly funded European projects related to urban logistics, like DISCO project and Urbane, respectively coordinated by FIT and Inlecom. The session will be an opportunity to discuss on how those new projects can follow up pathways to innovate urban logistics to scale up to a next level in urban planning and digital transition in European Living Labs.
