FIT Consulting and partners embark on the Shift2Zero journey
January marked an important milestone for the Shift2Zero project with its official kick-off meeting in Barcelona that brought together 30 partners from across Europe. Representing FIT at the event in Barcelona was our Senior Project Manager Paola Astegiano.
The project, coordinated by Eurecat-Technology Centre, aims to revolutionize urban logistics by developing innovative functionalities and designs for mission-specific, zero-emission N1 electric light commercial vehicles (e-LCVs).
Shift2Zero (S2Z) seeks to address the gap in the electric vehicle market for urban logistics, with a particular emphasis on last-mile deliveries.
FIT will closely collaborate with the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) on WP5 tasks dealing with data requirements, governance models, and the integration of digital solutions developed in the project pilots maximizing the PI compliance principles of modularity and connectivity.
