Great news in 2024: FIT joined the IDSA – International Data Space Association. After more than ten years of fruitful and valuable collaboration between Paola Cossu, CEO FIT, and Thorsten Hülsmann, CFO of IDSA, now it’s time to consolidate and empower this close collaboration, bringing effective contribution to scale up the deployment of Data Spaces and IDS standards for logistics and urban logistics, as already activated in the Horizon Europe DISCO project, coordinated by FIT and with IDSA among the main consortium partners.
FIT, which will be introduced to the IDSA Members and Community on the 23rd of March, is willing to provide support in promoting the understanding of Data Spaces, reducing barriers and reluctance to share data and driving to data sovereignty, actively participating – with its staff – in different working groups and to the wide range of activities promoted by the International Data Space Association, such as Data Spaces Discovery days and the Data Spaces Annual Symposium.
“My personal commitment, passion and enthusiasm – said Paola Cossu, CEO FIT – has a clear mandate and advocacy, being appointed as IDSA Ambassador last year. I will put all my efforts in promoting the opportunities offered by Data Spaces, spreading awareness, driving to a better understanding, promoting the development of new use cases in urban logistics, towards the achievements of decarbonized and digitalized European cities”.
