WEBINAR DISCO ALICE 29 NOV

The European DISCO Project, coordinated by FIT, among the topics of the Joint Webinar on “Find Space for Mobility and Logistics Data” organized by ALICE

The European project DISCO, coordinated by FIT, will be among the protagonists of the webinar organised by ALICE – scheduled on 29 October, from 13:00 to 14:30 – dedicated to the topic ‘Find Space for Mobility and Logistics Data‘.

The objectives of the webinar include developing an overview of current EU policies and technology trends in the data space; as well as presenting current practices of the European mobility data space and the application of the mobility data space in the logistics sector. The webinar is thus aimed at providing a better understanding of the data space and its potential application in the urban logistics sector; as well as creating opportunities for collaboration among various stakeholders in the implementation of the data space to achieve zero-emission urban logistics.

The DISCO project aims precisely at the application of data space in urban logistics. During the webinar, winners of the award dedicated to data space integration will share their best practices with participants.

In addition to DISCO, the project deployEMDS, which works on the European mobility data space, will also be presented.

Speakers at the webinar will be:

  • Dries Van Bever, IMEC, expert from the DISCO project, will present a use case of Data Space in urban logistics in Ghent;
  • Chiara Venturini, Head of Digital Transformation & Economic Development at Eurocities, will present EU principles on data space and/or current practices of application of data space in cities;
  • Laure De Cock & Casper Van Gheluwe, IMEC, expert from the deployEMDS project, will present the latest development of European Mobility Data Space.
